Note that I said “on your PC.” If you’re playing the game on your Xbox One, you’ll be able to download all of the videos to your hard drive, and have them play off of there. However, if you’re playing the game on your PC, you’ll need to connect to the internet, in order to stream these videos into your game. That’s a pretty neat feature, and not unlike things we’ve seen in other games from Remedy. ![]() Depending on what path you take to progress through the game, the videos you see will change. Multiplayer games are obviously going to need to be online, but what about single-player experiences? Why should they need to connect to anything? In Quantum Break’s case, it really doesn’t make much sense at all.ĭuring the game, you’ll see live-action episodes of an in-game TV show. Plenty of games need an internet connection to function.
